A Year At Rest

Jackalope Studios has been operating for six years, with the staff running at least two events per year, with the exception of 2020. We’ve had a fantastic time with all of those experiences. 

But as we looked at the 2023 season, we’ve made the decision to not schedule any events this year. We know this isn’t what our players were hoping to hear, and it was a hard decision to make, but we also know that if our primary tenet is that People Are More Important Than LARPs, we have to remember to apply that to ourselves as a studio too. Taking this year break is meant to give the company time to prepare for future events for the coming years, deal with personal affairs and family, and recharge our creative batteries.

Due to this decision, we will not be running The Night in Question in 2023. But keep an eye out for future announcements. We are not going away – we’re just taking the time we need as a small studio whose employees have personal commitments to do what we need to do, and intend to come back even better in 2024. We’re rekindling our fires, not letting them burn out.
